There are many kinds of metal stamping technology, and the manufacturing level of each process and the shape of stamping parts produced will be very different. What is the hardware stamping process? What are the detailed processes of hardware technology? As shown in the figure below:

Metal stamping process can be divided into separation process and forming process. The purpose of forming process is to make the sheet metal plastic deformation without breaking the blank, and to make the workpiece with the required shape and size. Separation process is also known as blanking, its purpose is to make stamping parts along a certain contour line from the sheet metal, while ensuring the quality requirements of the separation section. In practical production, it is often a variety of processes applied to a workpiece. Blanking, bending, shearing, drawing, bulging, spinning and straightening are the main stamping processes.
 
1. Design the process drawing of machining parts
The function of designing and drawing the three parts of hardware workpiece is to express the structure of sheet metal parts by drawing. Draw the unfolding of the workpiece, that is, the complex part is expanded into a flat part. Analyze the part drawing, quickly understand the position relationship of workpiece size, coordinate point, line, curve and cutting surface, determine the workpiece coordinate origin, and calculate the coordinates of each vertex and curve connection point.
 
2. Correct process
The selection of workpiece surface processing method is to select a reasonable processing method for each surface with quality requirements. Generally, the final processing method is selected according to the requirements of surface accuracy and roughness, and the processing method of preparation process before finishing is determined, that is, the processing scheme is determined.
 
3. Cutting mode selection high efficiency
The bottom of the scissors is the length and width of the shape of the scissors. If there are punching angle and cutting angle, the punching and die punching are combined to form the cutting angle. The bottom surface of the press is a flat sheet structure, which is used to wash parts after one or more steps are developed. It has the advantages of short working time and high efficiency, and is often used in batch manufacturing. Laser finishing is to use laser cutting to cut out the shape of a plate structure.
 
4. Develop stamping sequence
Generally, there are processing procedures such as blanking angle blanking, blanking convex shell, punching tearing, pumping, etc., and the corresponding mold is required to complete the operation. In addition, the bending process also needs a bending machine and the corresponding bending die to complete the operation. The design principle is to give priority to the next operation without interference.
 
5. Complete the process of fastening parts
Generally, the operation is completed by stamping riveting process or hydraulic riveting machine. Fasteners are riveted on sheet metal parts. Pressure riveting is commonly used in pressure riveting bolts, compression riveting nuts, pressure riveting screws, etc. The process of flanging tap is to dig a slightly larger hole on the smaller bottom hole, and then pump the suction tap hole. In this way, the strength can be improved and the sliding teeth can be avoided. It is generally used for workpieces with high sheet thickness. When the plate thickness is large, it is not necessary to directly flanging and tapping.
 
6. Assembly method of parts
Welding the welding of multiple components together for machining purposes or for individual component seams to increase its strength. The surface treatment usually has phosphate film, electroplating polychromatic zinc, chromate, baking paint, oxidation, etc. The selection of specific surface treatment methods is based on requirements. Assembly is the assembly of multiple parts or assemblies in a way that makes it a complete project.
